Summary: We've seen many killer bear movies across the decades. But it feels like we almost never see one about the most feared bear of them all. Specifically, the mighty polar bear. Well now the big white ursas have their day, and a lot of people will die because of it.

History: Somewhere in the Alaskan wilderness, a bunch of scientists dabbled in genetics in order to find a means of boosting the survival of polar bears in the face of climate change. It worked too well, as the bears became huge and insanely aggressive, killing and eating anyone in their path. Now, they are loose, and anyone who dares enter their turf won't be coming back the way they came for sure...

Notable Kills: One person is pulled through the ice.

Final Fate: Few survivors are left by the next day. One polar bear is killed, with a drill attached to a snowmobile, no less. As for the prospect of their being more of these things, do we really want to answer that?!

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-As with most other movie bears, you simply do not want to be in the same area as these ones. Not helping is just how enormous they are! And they're not polite eaters, either. A mauling is pretty much the last thing you want from them. Though a hug would probably be slower, so no on that.

Trivia: -The polar bear is the largest ursine on the planet, capable of standing taller than a grown man when it rears up. While attacks by them are rare, it's still very ill-advised to go near one. Also, due to their shrinking environments, they often go into populated areas now. You can thank the industries for that.

-Although the film states that polar bears don't hibernate, the truth is that females will rest for three months when pregnant, only emerging when the baby is ready to see the world. It's a very short hibernation, but still.
